A greener way forward

Background

2022's sustainability report established a strong visual identity rooted in a human-centric approach. In 2023, we evolved that design every so lightly, pushing our colour palette of natural hues and introducing an element of personalization in our fonts. This approach ensured a harmonious narrative that seamlessly connected with the previous report while underscoring how every action taken by Mazda is deeply rooted in a shared vision for a better world.

Rationale

With a refined palette of earthy greens and soothing blues, and images of Mazda vehicles in breathtaking natural landscapes, this visual concept illustrated how the cars complement and respect the environment, while inspiring the next generation to connect with it.

Origami

Mazda's cultural roots are deeply tied to the art of Origami, and we wanted to bring that to life.

We designed an Origami insert or tear-away that conveys the message of our report's theme: "Partnership and Hope for the Future". This interactive element symbolized the unfolding of Mazda’s vision and the collaborative effort required to achieve it.
