Centre for Dyslexia

My Role

Senior Design Leader, leading the visual identity system and creative direction across brand, digital, and physical touchpoints, collaborating closely with the creative director, the client, and stakeholder partners to ensure clarity, accessibility, and long-term scalability.

Objective

The Centre for Dyslexia required a brand system that balanced academic authority with empathy, communicating credibility to education leaders and government stakeholders, while remaining warm, inclusive, and empowering for families and students. The goal was to establish the Centre as a trusted, forward-thinking institution shaping the future of inclusive education in Canada.

The identity needed to resonate across a diverse audience, including Fraser Academy stakeholders, provincial education boards, policymakers, and families nationwide, while remaining flexible enough to support long-term growth.

Strategic Direction

Guided by the principle of leaving no child behind, the brand was designed to articulate a clear, research-backed rationale for Canada’s Centre for Dyslexia. The system emphasizes clarity, accessibility, and optimism, reinforcing the Centre’s role as both an authority in dyslexia education and an advocate for inclusive learning.
